Small food businesses have been encouraged to use the “human library” being provided by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland tomorrow as part of Library Ireland Week.
Food safety experts will act as “human books” to answer questions on issues such as food labelling, displaying calories on menus and food hygiene.
The authority’s information manager Edel Conway encouraged food businesses to meet face-to-face with the experts. “We’ll have experts on hand covering everything from starting up a food business to the complexities around food labelling and the ins and outs of displaying calories on menus.”
Those wishing to book a meeting can call the FSAI’s library on 01-8171354.
