Nottingham Forest have confirmed that they will officially complete the loan signing of Manchester City striker Darren Huckerby on February 24th.
Huckerby will be available to Forest boss Paul Hart for the remainder of the season - including the play-offs should Forest secure a top-six finish.
The 26-year-old is expected to start training with Forest on Monday and Hart told the club's official website, www.nottinghamforest.co.uk: "We want to get promotion and having a player of Darren's quality on board will help us try and achieve that aim.
"He had the chance to join a couple of other clubs but he's a Nottingham lad and desperately wants to play for Forest."
Huckerby has scored twice for City this season after having his first-team opportunities limited following the arrival of Nicolas Anelka and more recently, Robbie Fowler.
