A former brothel seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) fetched over £230,000 at auction yesterday. A woman bought the house at 104a Lower Rathmines, Dublin. The CAB took possession of it earlier this year after discovering that up to six prostitutes were using it. The then owner escaped prosecution as she lives in Malta. The State cannot collect the proceeds of the sale for seven years.
