Kuala Lumpur - An ex-police chief who gave Malaysia's former finance minister, Mr Anwar Ibrahim, a black eye in custody was ordered to be jailed for two months yesterday after losing an appeal against his two month sentence for the 1998 assault.
The former inspector-general of police, Abdul Rahim Noor, went first to hospital after complaining of chest pains and then to Kajang Prison, 29 km south of Kuala Lumpur.
