Gardaí investigating the murder of a suspected drugs trafficker in a gangland shooting in Dublin’s south inner city in February have arrested four people in connection with the incident.
John Carroll (33) was shot dead in Grumpy Jack’s pub in the Coombe area of Dublin 8 on February 18th.
The three men and a woman were arrested following a series of planned searches in Dublin city centre earlier today. Two firearms and a quantity of ammunition were also seized in the raids.
Gardaí said two of the men are aged in their 30s and 50s while the third is a juvenile. The woman is described as being in her mid-20s.
All four are being held in various garda stations under Section 30 Offences Against The State Act.
A number of arrests have been made in connection with Carroll's death.
