Three men will appear in court in Co Kildare today after gardaí recovered stolen property worth an estimated €300,000.
Members of the Organised Crime Unit and the National Bureau of Criminal Investigations, assisted by members of the Air Support Unit and Garda National Drugs Unit searched a storage unit in Straffan on Wednesday night.
What a Garda spokesman said was a "substantial amount" of property believed to be stolen was located at this storage area. It included commerical coffee machines, clothing and a range of vitamin products.
Four men ranging in age from mid 20s to early 40s were arrested and were detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. Two were held at Naas Garda station and the other men were held at Lucan and Leixlip for questioning.
Three of the men will appear on charges this morning at Kilcock District Court at 10.30am.
A Garda spokesman said the fourth man was released yesterday and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
