Four people were taken to hospital following a single vehicle car crash in west Cork in the early hours of yesterday morning.
One male occupant of the vehicle was taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for a head injury sustained in the crash, which took place near Eyeries, on the Beara peninsula, at about 4am on Tuesday.
He was in a stable condition yesterday.
Three other occupants of the car were taken to Bantry General Hospital following the crash, where their condition was described yesterday as comfortable. All four occupants are believed to be locals.
