Four men who were questioned by police in the North about the murder of a nationalist councillor more than 30 years ago have been released without charge.
Mr Patrick Kelly (33) disappeared after locking his pub in Trillick, Co Tyrone, on July 24th, 1974. His body was discovered three weeks later some 10 miles away in Lough Eyes near Lisbellaw, Co Fermanagh.
He had been shot a number of times and his body was weighed down by blocks. His family suspected security force involvement.
The men were detained yesterday by PSNI officers investigating the death of Mr Kelly, who was an Independent Nationalist member of Omagh District Council.
Sources said some, if not all, four men, were former soldiers in the Ulster Defence Regiment. Two men were released yesterday and another two last night.
Local people claimed members of the-then Ulster Defence Regiment were involved in the killing and at least one ex-soldier was questioned.
It is not known if he is among the men detained yesterday.
