Four people remain in custody today in connection with the investigation into the murder of two soldiers at the Massereene army base in Antrim town more than a week ago.
Detectives in Northern Ireland were this morning granted a five-day extension to continue to question a 31-year-old man over the incident on March 8th, when army engineers Mark Quinsey (23) from Birmingham and Patrick Azimkar (21) from London were shot dead by the Real IRA. Three other extensions were granted last night.
The soldiers were shot several times by gunmen as they took a pizza delivery at the gates of their base. They were due to go to Afghanistan several hours later.
Two other soldiers and two delivery men were seriously injured in the attack.
