Four men are still being questioned by Gardaí after the discovery of firearms and ammunition in Dublin.
Two men were arrested in Dublin after guns and ammunition were found in a car which was stopped by gardaí on St Patrick's Day.
In follow-up searches yesterday, gardai arrested two more men in the Edenderry area of Co Offaly.
A garda spokesman said the arrests were part of an ongoing operation to investigate serious crime across the State.
