GAA:Once again, there will be no entrance fee this weekend when Tipperary and Kilkenny attempt to fulfill their Allianz National Hurling League fixture on Sunday. The match has already fallen foul of the weather twice and organisers will hoping for a case of third time lucky in Thurles.
While they were unable to provide refunds to supporters who paid into the original match at Semple Stadium, the GAA offered free entry to the rescheduled fixture last Tuesday.
As that also fell by the wayside, Croke Park today confirmed there will be no money taken on the turnstiles this weekend either.
Setanta Ireland will also be broadcasting live coverage from the highly-anticipated meeting of last year’s All-Ireland finalists.
The GAA also announced this afternoon that the National Football League meeting of Monaghan and Tyrone at Iniskeen this weekend will be an all-ticket affair. Tickets for Sunday’s match will be made available through the boards and clubs of both counties.
