A handbook examining such issues as home care, nursing homes, legal advice and nutrition for older people has been published.
The Irish Pensioners Handbook 2012,produced by Home Instead Senior Care with the support of the HSE and Age Action Ireland, was published yesterday by Minister of State for Older People Kathleen Lynch.
Eamon Timmins of Age Action Ireland said: “Each year our information service receives 3,000 calls from older people and their families. We know the value of accurate, timely information.”
