Paintings by the French navy's official artists will be on display on board the French mine hunter, Eridan, during its courtesy visit to Dublin Port early this week. The 51 metre ship, with a crew of 45, is accompanying yachts participating in the Figaro single handed race. Howth, Co Dublin, is hosting the Irish stage of the contest.
The Eridan is open to the public in Dublin today from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 1.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
