A number of flights to and from France today have been cancelled because of a general strike by French transport workers.
French transport workers in all sectors are opposing government plans to reform the pensions system.
Aer Lingus has advised that some, but not all, flights between Dublin and Paris, Cork and Paris, and Dublin and Nice have been cancelled because of the strike.
The airline has asked intending passengers on affected flights to contact its reservations office on 0818-365000 to make alternative arrangements.
Ryanair has also cancelled all of its flights in and out of France. They are advising customers to monitor the company website.
Passengers intending to fly Air France are advised that five flights have been cancelled with the 7.10 p.m. service returning at 10 p.m. the only flight in operation. Passengers can contact the company on 0033-141-565600 for further information.
Normal services to and from France are expected to resume tomorrow.
