Fulham captain Chris Coleman has sustained serious leg injuries in a car crash.
The 30-year-old Welsh international was involved in an accident in Surrey last night. No other vehicles were involved.
The extent of the defender's injuries were not immediately apparent but Division One leaders Fulham issued a statement in which they promised to give the player their full support during the recovery process.
Managing director Michael Fiddy said: "Everyone at the club is deeply concerned about the incident involving Chris Coleman.
