The funeral was held today of the newborn baby boy who was found dead in a rubbish skip in Co Limerick earlier this month.
The child's body was discovered at a skip hire yard, on August 4th, in Killila near the village of Broadford.
Gardaí at Newcastle West are continuing to investigate the case although the post-mortem has ruled out foul play. Evidence suggests that the child had not lived after its birth.
Gardaí continue to appeal to anyone with information to contact them in confidence at Newcastle West on (069) 20650.
