A big turnout is expected for the funeral tomorrow of Ms Dolores McCrea, the mother of four who was killed in January.
The remains of Ms McCrea had been retrieved from the scene of a fire at the rear of the family home in Ballybulgan, Ballintra, Co Donegal, in January. Her estranged husband, Mr Gary McCrea (39), has been charged with her murder.
He is on bail awaiting service of the book of evidence.
The long delay in holding a funeral service had been attributed to the furthering of the identification process through DNA testing. The remains had been sent abroad after being initially identified through dental records in Ireland.
Removal of Mrs McCrea's remains will take place this evening to St Brigid's Church, Ballintra.
Requiem Mass will take place tomorrow at 11 a.m., with burial in the local cemetery.
