The GAA today said that the Eircell All Star tour of Argentina would go ahead despite the current civil unrest in the country.
Argentine President Mr Fernando de la Rua has declared a state of emergency in the country amid widespread rioting and looting that has killed 16 people.
But a Croke Park source said today that the organisation had contacted their travel agent and "as it stands it will be going ahead."
"We don't see any huge danger at the moment but we will continue to monitor the situation."
