GAA news:The draw for the quarter-finals of the All-Ireland hurling championships, if necessary, will take place on Sunday evening. The draw for the fourth and final round of the football qualifiers will also take place following the Connacht football final.

Depending on the sequence of results, the may be no need for a hurling draw as teams who have already met cannot meet again.

As such, if Offaly overcome Tipperary there will be no draw with the quarter-finals comprising Galway v Dublin / Antrim and Offaly v Cork / Waterford. Similarly, if Cork lose and Tipperary win there will be no need for a draw and the pairings will be Galway v Tipperary and Cork v Dublin/Antrim.

The four winning teams from round three of the football qualifiers will go into the hat alongside the four defeated provincial finalists on Sunday evening. Both draws will be screened live on TV3.
