The High Court has adjourned a hearing of winding up applications for companies operating two restaurants of celebrity chef Conrad Gallagher until Friday.

The Revenue Commissioners have petitioned the court to wind up Boutique Restaurants Concepts Ltd and Super Potato Ltd which run Salon des Saveurs restaurant in Dublin and Conrad's Kitchen in Sligo.

Mr Gallagher, who was just 26 when he won a Michelin star, is not listed as a director of either company which are in the names of his wife Candice and his mother Evelyn, respectively.

The Revenue is seeking the winding up order over unpaid taxes.

In the High Court today, Ms Justice Mary Laffoy agreed to a request from lawyers for both sides to adjourn the matter for hearing on Friday.

In a statement issued on behalf of Mr Gallagher last week, he said there was “no question” of any monies due not being paid.
