Antrim joined Sligo at the top of Division 4 after they dismantled Carlow 4-14 to 1-11 at Dr Cullen Park. Leitrim kept up their push for promotion with a 0-13 to 0-11 win against Wicklow at Carrick-on-Shannon.
Waterford suffered a shock upset at Ruislip, where they went down 0-9 to 0-8 against London on Saturday night. It was London’s first league victory since 2007. Kilkenny’s miserable campaign continued when they were on the end of a 5-21 to 0-4 defeat to Clare at Cusack Park today.
Leinster retained the Interprovincial Hurling title, running out 3-18 to 1-17 winners over Connacht in Abu Dhabi, while Kerry’s reign as Under-21 football champions was ended by Cork, who claimed a 1-17 to 0-9 win in their Munster quarter-final at Páirc Uí Rinn.
