A woman was left shaken after her husband (56) was beaten by a gang in their home in Northern Ireland.
Three masked men entered the house in Burnbrae, Bushmills, Co Antrim, at around 10 p.m. last night and confronted the couple as they watched television.
The man was struck with bats or sticks, sustaining bruising and puncture wounds to his head, body, legs and arms. He is recovering in hospital.
The woman, although shocked, was not injured.

Police in Ballymoney today asked anyone who was in the Burnbrae area at the time of the attack to come forward with information to help their investigation.
