A man was admitted to hospital for cuts and bruises following a paramilitary-style assault in Co Antrim overnight.
The 20-year-old was beaten by six masked men with baseball bats after they dragged him from a house at Castlemar Drive in Carrickfergus.
His injuries were described as minor.
