The body of the male was found on Sunday December 22nd by the crew of a ship entering Dublin Port. It was seen floating in the bay in the main shipping channel and was removed by the Garda to the city morgue.

The man is described as being in his later forties to early fifties, of 15 to 16 stone in weight, with grey hair and slightly stocky build. He was wearing a green sweatshirt with a Lyons tea logo and grey trousers and black size 43 shoes.
