Gardaí in Naas have appealed for the public's help in the investigation of a man's death earlier this month.

Gardaí in Naas have appealed for the public's help in the investigation of a man's death earlier this month.

On the morning of February 12th, Tomas Sokelis (29), a Lithuanian national, was admitted to Naas General Hospital but was pronounced dead there.

A number of people have been interviewed, and gardaí have carried out house-to-house enquiries and reviewed CCTV footage. It has been established Mr Sokelis was around Basin Street in Naas on Thursday, February 11th, between 8.15pm and 9pm.

According to gardaí, he was with two other men, also Lithuanian, and the three travelled to Basin Street in a white van. Gardaí believe Mr Sokelis may have been involved in an argument and suffered serious head injuries after falling.
