Gardaí appeal over missing persons

Gardaí are attempting to locate a 16-year-old girl who has been missing from her home in Cork for more than three weeks.

Shanice Coffey was last seen on Patrick Street in Cork city centre at about 8pm on September 24th.

She is described as being of average build, 160cm (5ft 3in) tall and as having long brown hair and blue eyes. Shanice was wearing denim shorts and a black top when last seen.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Anglesea Street Garda station on (021) 4522000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Separately, information is being sought about the whereabouts of Patrick Heeran (48) from Aughavas, Co Leitrim who has been missing for two weeks.

Mr Heeran is described as being 175cm (5ft 9in) in height and of stocky build.
