Gardaí have arrested 23 men and one woman in Waterford as part of a major investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the city.
Over the past two days gardaí from local and national drug units searched over 24 houses in the city and seized quantities of cocaine and heroin.
Those arrested, aged between 17 and 50, were detained in the past 24 hours and are being held at Dungarvan, Waterford, Tramore, New Ross and Thomastown Garda stations.
They are due to appear before a special sitting of Waterford District Court tonight facing over 90 charges.
