A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out today on the body of a man in his 60s which was discovered in a house on Kincora Avenue, Clontarf, Dublin, yesterday evening.
Gardai found the body following a phone call to Clontarf station. The caller was said to be a man in his early 20s and was understood to be helping the Garda.
The Assistant State Pathologist, Dr Maura Cassidy, was called to the scene, along with members of the Garda Technical Bureau. The scene has been preserved and an incident room set up at Clontarf Garda Station.
