Gardaí in Co Cavan are investigating the circumstances of a woman's death after her body was found in a house in the town.
Gardaí were called to a house in Cavan town at around 12.30am and a 42-year-old woman was found deceased in the house, a Garda statement said.
"Gardaí have sealed off the scene and the State Pathologist has also been notified."
