Gardaí investigating the theft of  jewellery worth over €100,000 in the Kilcolgan area of Co Galway last year are appealing for the public's help.

The raid took place between November 26th and December 4th last.

Anyone with information about the robbery or anyone who has been offered any of the jewellery listed below for sale is asked to contact the gardaí at Gort 091-636400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1-800-666-111 or any Garda station.

The jewellery stolen is as follows:

- A three-carat, brilliant-cut diamond ring on a very slim gold band, value approximately €30,000.

- Gold Rolex ladies watch with diamonds on the face of the watch, value €30,000.

- Diamond engagement ring, 0.75 carat, brilliant cut on a gold band, value  €1,000.

- Diamond bracelet with 20 diamonds, value €25,000

- Diamond cross and chain set in white gold, value €6,000

- Victorian diamond ring 1.75 carat gold wedding ring, value €500

- Ruby teardrop necklace, value €2,000

- Emerald and diamond ring, value €5,000

- Sapphire and diamond ring, value €1,000

-Amber and amethyst necklace, value €1,000

- Diamond earrings, value €1,000

- Gold and amethyst earrings, value €500

- Emerald necklace, ring and earring set, value €3,000

- Diamond and emerald earrings, value €500.

- Amethyst earrings and gold chain, value €800
