Gardaí in Waterford are investigating two house fires that broke out yesterday in the Kilcohan area of the city.
The first occured at about 10.15am in St Herblain Park. No one was injured, but considerable damage was done to the property.
The second fire broke out at about 6.15pm in Crystal Court, Kilcohan. Although some damage was done to the property, including significant smoke damage, there were no injuries reported.
Technical examinations of both scenes have been carried out, and the investigation is ongoing.
Gardaí say that a connection between the blazes has not been ruled out.
