Gardaí today renewed an appeal for information on missing man Stephen O'Meara, who was last seen on August 6th, 2009, in Wicklow town.
Mr O'Meara was last seen at 6pm that Thursday in Wicklow. He was wearing black Manchester United tracksuit bottoms, dark grey tracksuit top, and a white or navy Nike T-shirt with a red line across the chest. He was also wearing black-and-white Nike Air Max runners and a thick gold chain.
Mr O'Meara has sandy receding hair, is 6in 2ft in height, and has an athletic build.
In the renewed appeal, gardaí have asked farmers and park rangers to check outbuildings on their lands in the Wicklow area.
