Gardaí at Fitzgibbon Street are renewing their appeal to identify the body of a man found in the Royal Canal near Ballybough Road, Dublin, last month.

According to Gardaí a pair of Primark underpants, an Irish soccer jersey and a pair of socks were found with the body.

Gardaí also wish to appeal to members of ethnic communities who may have information in relation to persons missing from thier community or any other information however insignificant to conatct them at the incident room on 1800218219.

The remains, which are those of a black male aged between 20 and 30, were found by a passerby on Wednesday 30th March.
