Gardaí in Cavan have ruled out foul play in their investigation into the death of a man whose body was found on a roadside near his home yesterday.
The man - who has been named locally as Patrick McCormack - had been a printer with the Anglo-Celtnewspaper before his retirement.
His body was found by a passerby on a side road off the Cootehill road 3km from Cavan town.
A postmortem, carried out last night, indicated Mr McCormack died of natural causes.
