Gardaí are following a "definite line of inquiry" in the search for the driver who injured four people driving his car through a crowd of people in Dublin's Temple Bar on Friday morning.
A Garda spokeswoman this morning said there were a number of people named on the insurance of the car. She added they were confident of interviewing the driver soon.
The apparent "hit-and-run incident" occurred near a nightclub on Cope St at 3 a.m.
The injured, three men and one women, were taken to St James's Hospital for treatment. The condition of one of the men is described as serious.
