Gardaí are searching for two occupants of a car that was involved in a shooting incident on Saturday night.
Gardai believe they prevented a potential "gangland" attack after chasing a car whose occupants were acting suspiciously.
An unmarked Garda car was rammed by a car it was following shortly before midnight on Saturday night. Shots were then fired at the Garda car with a number of shots hitting the windscreen.
The car was abandoned on the Bluebell Road and two people were apprehended shortly afterwards. The two men - an 18-year-old and a 22-year-old - are still in custody.
