Gardaí investigating the death of a woman in Co Waterford last week are looking for three drivers who may have given a man lifts from Cork to Tipperary last Friday.

The body of Lorraine Crowley (36) was discovered in her home near Dungarvan town centre shortly after 8 a.m. on Thursday by a family member. A man appeared before a special sitting of Dungarvan District Court on Saturday charged in connection with the death of Ms Lorraine Crowley.

Today gardaí asked for three drivers to come forward. The first is believed to have given a man a lift from the Mallow Road in Cork City to the Tipperary Roundabout in Limerick City in a dark blue or grey Toyota Corolla.

The second driver is thought to have given the man a lift from the Tipperary Roundabout in Limerick to Mitchelstown, Co Cork, driving what is believed to be a blue van.
