Gardaí seek help in tracing missing persons

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing to the public to help them trace the whereabouts of three missing persons.

Charlie King, age 70 has been missing from his home at Cherrywood, Loughlinstown, since last Tuesday.

Mr King had indicated to a neighbour that he intended to travel to Stradbally, Co Waterford, the following morning, Wednesday 27th July. However, he has not been seen since and has not been in contact, which is out of character. He is described 5'5" in height, with short grey hair and a moustache, and sometimes a beard. When last seen he was wearing a wine coloured fleece, a brown 'Bus Eireann' baseball cap and he was carrying a green cloth bag.

Meanwhile, 15 year old Jamie Byrne has been missing from her home in Shancastle Avenue, Clondalkin since yesterday. She is described as being 5' 3" tall, has blonde hair, hazel eyes and is of average build.

A garda spokesman said Jamie wears a lot of jewellery and was last seen wearing a beige top and stony coloured jacket.

Gardaí at Sundrive are seeking 78-year-old Anne Gibney who has also been missing from her home in Sperrin Road, Drimnagh since yesterday.

She is described as being 5' tall, slight, with short white permed hair, her legs are bandaged to the knee, is wearing a blue short sleeved blouse, black skirt, tan jacket, cream open toe shoes and may have a tan shopping trolley with her.

A garda spokesman said Anne usually answers to the name of "Nancy" and may be in a confused state.
