Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the robbery of a Drogheda bookmakers this morning.
Two men, wearing balaclavas and fluorescent jackets, and armed with a baseball bat, entered the bookmakers on Scarlet Street at around 10 a.m.
They demanded money from the female attendant and fled the scene with a quantity of cash.
It is believed they made their escape in a car but there is no description of a vehicle.

The men are described as being in their 20s, at least six feet tall and of strong build. Both had Dublin accents.
