Gardai seeking to identify body found in Lee

Gardaí in Cork are seeking information from the public that may help in identifying a body taken out of the River Lee on Monday morning.

The man is described as being five foot, 10 inches in height, with short black hair, and balding slightly.

When found, he was wearing a black jacket with a grey jumper underneath and blue jeans and brown shoes with no socks. He was also carrying a set of rosary beads.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
