Gardaí have this evening seized cocaine worth an estimated €1 million after two operations in Co Meath.
The first seizure took place after a car was stopped in the Batterstown area of the county. Six kgs of the drug was found and two men were arrested and are being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.
A follow up search of a house in Navan town recovered a further three kgs of the drug.
The operation was carried out by Gardaí from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation as part of Operation Anvil.
