Gardaí are treating the death of a woman in Cork as suspicious.
The body of the 33-year-old woman was found in at the bottom of the stairs at a terraced house at Roche's Buildings, Richmond Hill, at 12.25 a.m.
She had been living in the house for around six weeks since moving to Cork from Dublin.
It is understood she had suffered severe head injuries.

The exact cause of the death will not be known until a post-mortem is carried out on the body this afternoon.
The scene has been preserved for examination by a Garda forensics team.
