Washington - The US Supreme Court yesterday rejected a constitutional challenge to President Bill Clinton's "don't ask, don't tell" policy that allows homosexuals to be discharged from the military.
This is the fourth time the court has turned down an appeal over the policy. Under the compromise reached between Congress and the Clinton administration, the military cannot question members about their sexual orientation but overt homosexual acts or statements can lead to discharge.
