Jakarta - The Indonesian Security Minister, Gen. Wiranto, under strong pressure to resign over his alleged involvement in last year's East Timor violence, attended a cabinet meeting yesterday and said he was awaiting the return of President Abdurrahman Wahid.
"Please be assured that I'm waiting for the President to come back," he told journalists on his way into the regular weekly meeting chaired by Vice-President Megawati Sukarnoputri at the presidential office.
