Berlin - The German Culture Minister, Mr Michael Naumann, who has been outspoken in trying to persuade Moscow to return second World War looted art works, is likely to resign to take up a newspaper job, the newspaper's publisher said yesterday.
The Holtzbrinck publishing group in Stuttgart said it was close to closing a deal for Mr Naumann to work for the review Die Zeit, a high-brow weekly. He has worked for Die Zeit several times in his career.
