A German court convicted a right-wing extremist today of inciting racial hatred by producing 10,000 CDs of banned neo-Nazi music.
The 26-year-old man was sentenced to two years in jail without probation. He was also convicted of illegally possessing firearms.
Prosecutors in Dresden said the man had produced the CDs and sold them to customers in Berlin, the state of Saxony and the US. They said he was a key figure in the distribution of far-right music CDs in the state.
The lyrics of the neo-Nazi songs promote racial hatred and call for the murder of Jews and Turks.
