A GERMAN newspaper will today name the prominent Fianna Fail figure who is named in the Price Waterhouse report as receiving £1.1 million from Dunnes Stores. The left wing daily Die Tageszeitung identifies the man.

In a report by its Dublin correspondent, Ralf Sotscheck, the paper claims that the money was paid into various London bank accounts belonging to the former politician. It describes the Dail as being gripped by fear over possible disclosures from the Price Waterhouse report, which is said to name 100 figures from politics, business and the media who received money from Dunnes.
