Accra - Ghanaians voted yesterday for a successor to their charismatic President, Mr Jerry Rawlings, but the opposition alleged intimidation, other irregularities and urged the international community to take note. Mr John Kufuor, runner-up to Mr Rawlings in the last presidential election in 1996, was the pre-poll favourite. He won a first round on December 7th with 48.35 per cent of votes cast, just short of an outright majority.
