Forget about Mammon and all his vices and start getting in the Christmas mood properly with Carols For Peace in the Pro-Cathedral tonight at 8 p.m. Members of Dublin's Palestrina Choir with Belfast's St George's Church of Ireland Choir will be performing in a special peace concert that, unlike most things in the Christmas season, is absolutely free. Lord John Alderdice MP is coming along, as is Veronica Suth- erland the British ambassador, while Gerry Adams of Sinn Fein also expressed great interest.
If you miss the concert, look out for the CD called Gift Of Peace - the proceeds will go towards peace charities.
