The three-year-old girl who drowned in Co Monaghan yesterday was named by gardaí this morning as Eva O'Reilly.
Eva, from Cortolvin View, fell into the disused Old Ulster Canal while playing with a group of children near the canal banks.
The alarm was raised at around 1.30 p.m. yesterday.
